If you've never been before, you should definitely check it out. It is the quaintest little western town I have seen in the eastern part of North Carolina. Great place for kids and delicious food
This is a great place to have dinner, steaks and chicken were cooked to perfection. It is off the beaten path which is why I like it even better. If you want a great dining experience give these guys a try.
If you have young kids and happen to be in the area - give it a shot. It is small, but ambitious. Ride the train, play some mini-golf, grab some grub, and enjoy! There is a whole lot crammed into a small space, so block out some time.
This place is great and offers a wide range of food. They are new so there is not much about them online yet. I added a few pictures of the "town" and restaurant menu. The food we had was great and they were very friendly. They also have mini golf, train rides and an ice cream shop. Great family fun, it reminds me of "Ghost Town", when I was a kid.
Our first visit was October 30, 2016. My husband and I had seen it on WRAL Tarheel traveler. We came with our friends and the four of us road the train and ate dinner. We have been trying to get back for the past year. Tonight we came and brought our children and two granddaughters for a total of nine. Service was good and food was great! Train tonight was only the Haunted one and our 9 year old granddaughter was to afraid to ride. They did play on the playground while we waited for our dinner table. We will be back.
