Farm Country Campground is in the middle of farm country! A new campground, it boast a beautiful pool, a playground and nice size camping spaces. The owners and the office staff are super nice. Deadwood Restaurant is across the road with train rides and putt putt. Farm Country Campground is in the close knit community of Bear Grass. The Bob Martin Agricultural Center and Horse Complex are close by. I have not camped here as I am a local but I have used the pool and frequent the campground store.Everything is always kept in great shape and very clean.

We found Farm Country Campground when we had to evacuate the Outer Banks due to hurricane Arthur. The campground is not very old so it has that "new" feeling. Sites are nicely sized so that you have ample room. There is no shade as the trees were planted when the campground was put in a few years ago. The grass had been bush-hogged but not "mowed" so for us was a bit too tall...pretty much made you feel like you were definitely camping in a field. The sites had no gravel but were almost level. Staff and owners were super nice and always helpful. Pool was nice and had a handicapped lift. Bathrooms, laundry rooms and office area were all very clean. Deadwood theme park is across the road and is a cute distraction for a couple hours. Everybody said the food at the restaurant there was good but we did not eat there. Otherwise, not much to do by way of amenities but all in all a nice, quiet, family campground out in the middle of "Farm Country"!

Took our 2 grandsons there camping, they had a great time. Just across the road from Deadwood, great place to take the kids and good restaurant also. We will be returning this spring. Owners were great!!!!

Clean bath house and a nice pool. Easy to get in and out.
